How does it work?At HealthyVue, our practitioners work hand-in-hand with men and women to build a weight management plan that is suited for each patient's unique needs and goals. Our process consists of three straightforward steps: Fill out our patient questionnaire. Connect with a provider through a Telehealth appointment. If approved, receive your prescribed medication via overnight delivery direct from our partner pharmacy.
-
Who can participate in the program? To use HealthyVue you must: Be 18 years old or older. Demonstrate a medical need for treatment. Be a resident or physically located in one of the states we provide services to.
-
Do you accept insurance? We do not accept insurance, but we are able to accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). Clients are solely responsible for the cost of service and medication.
-
Can I cancel at any time?Absolutely! We recognize that plans can change, and do not require long-term contracts or cancellation fees. You'll only be responsible for any medication that has already been shipped to you.

How do GLP-1s work to help with weight loss? With a one time weekly subcutaneous injection, compounded GLP-1s can increase insulin levels to an appropriate level, allowing for glucose to be used properly. You may also notice a decrease in appetite, less cravings, and a feeling of fullness quicker than before. Compounded Semaglutide and Tirzepatide prescribed by HealthyVue providers also contain glycine and B12. The addition of glycine aids in the maintenance of muscle mass during rapid weight loss. The addition of cyanocobalamin (B12) helps to decrease nausea.

What is included in the program?- Medication - Concierge access to HealthyVue providers - Nutritional guidance
-
What are compounded GLP-1 medications?Compounded GLP-1 medications are doctor-prescribed medications that contain the same active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) as name brand FDA-approved medications such as Zepbound™, Mounjaro®, Ozempic®, and Wegovy®.
-
How do compounded medications compare to brand-name drugs? The FDA-approved brand-name drugs such as Saxenda®, Victoza®, Wegovy®, and Ozempic® are exclusively available from Novo Nordisk™. Mounjaro® and Zep-Bound™ are exclusively available from Eli Lilly and Company™. HealthyVue does not claim any affiliation with, or endorsement from, the above mentioned products or entities. Currently, HealthyVue is not able to offer compounded medications to patients located in Alabama. As a result, Alabama-based patients are only eligible to receive prescriptions for brand-name medications where applicable. Compounded medications offered by HealthyVue are made in licensed sterile compounding pharmacies, or FDA-licensed 503(b) Outsourcing Facilities. While these facilities are strictly regulated, the compounded medications they make are not FDA-approved, as they are compounded based on an individual provider's prescription for a specified patient. Strength, dose, route of administration, and other variables may make compounded medications different from FDA-approved drugs which makes directly comparing them with compounded drugs difficult. Any medications prescribed are based on a licensed provider's medical judgement based on a Telehealth encounter and medical history.

What are the most common side effects? The greatest complaint upon initiation of Tirzepatide/Glycine/B12 or Semaglutide/Glycine/B12, and when doses are increased, is nausea. Injecting the product in the evening, near bedtime, may allow you to sleep through some of these symptoms. Your provider can prescribe you a medication to help decrease nausea, if necessary. Constipation or diarrhea may occur. If any of these symptoms are severe, contact your provider for assistance.
-
How long does medication take to ship? After payment is processed, shipping usually takes 1-3 days.
-
What do I do if I miss a dose?If a dose is missed, inject it as soon as possible, within 5 days of your missed dose. If you miss a dose for more than 5 days, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. If you miss doses of medication for more than 2 weeks, contact your provider to determine if a dose adjustment should be made.
